摘要

Abstract

Biofloc Technology ( BFT ) is one of the technologies in sustainable aquaculture , which bases on solving the current resource and environmental problems arising from intensive aquaculture .Through balancing carbon and nitrogen ratio in the system , BFT could regulate water quality in aquaculture .Meanwhile , it could increase the utilization of dietary protein and improve the disease resistance of aquaculture species .This paper sets forth the concept , composing elements as well as forming conditions of BFT , and analyzes the application status of BFT in aquaculture .It mainly summarizes the effect of BFT on the biological control of cultured species , and looks forward to the future developments and research directions of BFT .
