摘要

Abstract

According to the specific structural and operational characteristics of the T P-1 sodium cooled traveling wave reactor (TWR) ,which was proposed by TerraPower Company , thermal-hydraulic characteristics of the reactor core of TP-1 were investigated by the commer-cial software CFX with porous media model .The calculation results show that the numerical simulation for TWR reactor core is intuitional , rapid and effective by using porous media model .There is a certain significance in analyzing three-dimensional temperature and flow field of TWR reactor core under steady state condition .
