Abstract
Dali is located in the middle of Yunnan province by west, which is characterized with the unique natural climatic conditions, where there are plenty resources of wild orchids. It is the mian production areas in China for the Lianban orchid that is aristocracy in or-chid. In Dali, orchids are cultivated mainly by farmers or more farmers union, for the potted planting form, for focus of main high-grade type of Lianban orchid. Though there are mature potted technology in Dali, it lacks of a reliable theoretical basis of science and technolo-gy and the advanced rapid propagation method. Furthermore, the orchid trading is narrow, the patency of the industrial chains have not formed, and the breeding of new varieties directly depends on the filter from the wild plant. Therefore, it is in disorder to exploit and uti-lize local wild resources of orchid, and a wild resources are enormously wasted. To solve these problems, it is recommended to popular-izethe orchid cultivation and appreciation in Dali to expand the terminal consumer, and to form a set of complete, scientific and rational theory of orchid cultivation;to strengthen scientific and technological innovation, to break the region limit and to speed up the introduc-tion, selection and promotion of new varieties; to establish and perfect a complete industrial chain of scientific research, production and consumption.关键词
