Research on Flashover Performance and Leakage Current Performance of Polluted Insulators
摘要
Abstract
The pollution flashover accidents of insulators on transmission lines do serious harm to the safe operation of power grid. In order to improve the understanding of flashover performance, mechanism and flashover process of polluted insulators, and provide a reference basis for the selection and design of the external insulation of transmission line. This paper deals with the flashover performance and leakage current performance of polluted insulators by analyzing the results of laboratory experiments. The results show that the flashover voltage decreases with the increasing of salt deposit density (SDD), non-soluble deposit density(NSDD) and fog conductivity; the flashover voltage of porcelain and glass insulators isn’t related to transition time, and the flashover voltage of composite insulators increased with the increasing of transition time. In the process of flashover, the leakage current and the pulse number of composite insulator are far less than that of porcelain and glass insulators. Under the same test conditions, the surface resistance of composite insulator is far greater than that of porcelain and glass insulators.关键词
