Reliability and Capacity Value Evaluation of Photovoltaic Generation Systems

Abstract
Large-scale grid-connected photovoltaic systems increase the uncertainty of power systems. Taking account of the timing and randomness characteristics of PV generation, through the sampling of weather types and the stratified sampling of equipments’ outage probability, this paper improves the model of PV system. The established model is applied to the reliability and capacity value evaluation of grid-connected PV systems. The author studies the impact of weather variations and equipment failure on the results. The study of the Golmud grid-connected PV system in Qinghai province shows that expanded power grid and dispersed PV power stations can help to enhance PV capacity.关键词
