Abstract
7 kenaf varieties (lines) introduced from the south and planted in the north were compar-atively tested in Daqing of Helongjiang in 2011.The trend of kenaf plant height showed as the shape of“S”, indicating a slow growth during the first month with 0.89 cm/d growth rate, a rapid growth after one and half month with 3.92 cm/d, and another slow growth during the last month with 1.10 cm/d growth rate.The variety H1 showed an excellent quality with 265.7 cm plant height , 1.56 cm stalk di-ameter, 40 leaves, 1.42 mm dried bark thickness, 43.1% bark yield and 25.51t/hm2 dried stalk, 39.3%higher than Fuhong No.2.The bark of H1 had good ripeness , resistant to illness , logging and saline-alkali soil.关键词
