Identification and Antifungal Activity of Three Antagonistic Bacteria Strains

Abstract
Three antifungal bacteria were isolated from strawberry rhizosphere soil with strawberry root rot pathogen Fusarium oxysporum as target plant pathogen. The three strains were identified according to their culture characteristic, morphology, physiological and biochemical property and 16s rDNA sequence analysis. The results showed that strains 1-9 and 9-4 were identified as Paenibacillus polymyxa, and 12-4 was identified as Bacillus subtilis. The three strains of antagonistic bacteria exhibited inhibition activity to the hypha growth, morphology and sporulation against F. oxysporum. The culture filtrate of the three antifungal strains also inhibited the conidial germination of F. oxysporum.关键词
