Abstract
Objective To observe the treatment of endoscopic sinus surgery for chronic sinusitis. Methods There are 94 cases of patients with chronic sinusitis, treated by the application after endoscopic sinus surgery. Their subjective symptoms are nasal obstruction, more nasal mucus (sticky mucus or purulent nasal discharge), postnasal drip, nasal pain, headache, hyposmia and ear choking sensation caused by long-term nasal obstruction, cough stimulated by the postnasal drip. Results In accordance with the 1997 conference in Haikou evaluation standard about endoscopic sinus surgery, postoperative treatment as fol ows:cured 74 cases, accounting for 78.7%, improved in 14 cases, 14.9%, ineffective 6 cases, 6.4%, the total effective rate is 93.6%. There is no a case of nasal adhesions, perforation of nasal septum, cerebrospinal rhinorrhea and orbital injury. Conclusion endoscopic sinus surgery for chronic sinusitis is a safe and effective method.关键词
