Abstract

Objective:To analyze the efficacy of using split patella combination of silk and internal fixation in patellar fracture.Method:Eighty patients with patellar fractures were selected in our hospital from January 2012 to December 2012 for the study,and 40 patients from January 2012 to June 2012 were treated with other conventional fixation,while 40 patients from July 2012 to December 2012 were treated with split patella fixation combined with silk.Postoperative recovery of the patient follow-up and treatment outcomes for the two groups were observed and compared.Result:After 6 months of follow-up,all patients were treated.And the average recovery time was 4 to 10 months,the recovery rate of the patients using split patella combined with thread fixation was 92.5%,it was higher than the traditional fixation for 67.5%,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01). The adverse reaction number of the patients using split patella combined with thread fixation was obviously less than that with traditional Kirschner internal fixation method,and the average healing time was significantly less than that with traditional Kirschner internal fixation method,there were statistically significant differences(P<0.05).Conclusion:Using the split patella combination of silk fixation for the treatment of patellar fracture has better efficacy than conventional internal fixation,it is conducive to the patient’s patella recovery.
