摘要

Abstract

Artemisinin as an important antimalarial drug,because of its antimalarial action quickly,high efficiency, low toxicity and with most of the advantages of antimalarial drugs without cross resistance,become the main current global antimalarial drugs.Although in the thai-cambodian border region has been the emergence of artemisinin resistance,but at present all over the world use artemisinin-based combination therapy(ACT)curative effect for the treatment of malaria still can reach more than 90%,so just phenomenon of artemisinin resistance must be quickly take containment action.This paper describes the antimalaria mechanism of artemisinin,discuss the mechanism of drug resistance to artemisinin,and development prospect are summarized in this paper.
