Abstract
The core work of the New Media Consortium is to explore the emerging technology and its application in education .The tenth Horizon Report released in 2013 describes six key trends and six significant challenges of education in next five years , establishes six kinds of emerging technologies which will have widespread impacts on the field of higher education , analyzes their application in teaching , learning and creative inquiry based on cases .Through the in-depth interpretation of Horizon Report , the paper discusses the development status , practice cases and trend of emerging technology in the hope of providing reference and enlightenment for the development of China's higher education informatization .关键词
