Abstract
Objective To explore the advantages of carotid artery ultrasound and DSA in ischemic cerebral vascular disease. Method 420 patients from March, 2009 to January, 2012 in our hospital were divided into ultrasound and DSA group. The clinical data differences between the two groups were compared. Results The plaque screening rates of ultrasound group was 27.76%higher than that of DSA group. The inspection rate of carotid artery stenosis≥70%patients in DSA group was 15.43%higher than that in ultrasound group. Statistical analysis of the above differences indicated that (P<0.01). 339 patients were diagnosed as atherosclerosis in 420 patients, with 80.71%detection rate. Pathological changes in the left were more than those in the right. BIF accounted for 47.74%, the flat plaques accounted for 49.71%. Conclusion Carotid atherosclerosis is more common in patients with cerebrovascular disease. Carotid inspection can detect plaques as early as possible. As the gold standard, DSA has its great advantage in the patients with high-grade stenosis of carotid.关键词
