摘要
Abstract
Objective To investigate the correlation between Interleukin-1β Levels in peri-implant crevicular fluid (PICF) or gingival crevicular fluid (GCF) and periodontal index. Methods For 34 patients, ELISA was used to determine IL-1β from PICF of 43 ITI implants and IL-1β from GCF of 43 contralateral teeth. Modified plaque index(mPI), modified gingival index(mGI), Probing depth(PD) and alveolar bone loss(aBL) were recorded meanwhile. Results IL-1β level in PICF was higher than in GCF(76.39 pg/μL vs 45.68 pg/μL, P=0.001 ). The mean of periodontal index for implant group was greater than control group(P<0.01). There was a positive correlation between IL-1β in both groups and periodontal index(P < 0.001). Conclusion The data of the present study indicated that IL-1βwould be an biomarker to determine the health status of gingival or peri-implant tissues.关键词
