Abstract
Objective To observe the sensitivity and specificity of sialidase activity in vaginal discharge through using bacterial vaginosis(BV) rapid diagnostic kit, and explore its clinical application value of BV diagnosis. Methods The vaginal discharge of 1000 patients in out-patient gynecology department of our hospital from March 2011 to March 2013 were collected as specimen.The specimen were respectively used BV rapid diagnostic kit and traditional Amsel detection method to detect sialidase activity in vaginal discharge. The sensitivity and specificity of the two detection methods were observed and compared. Results In 1000 patients, the positive patients by traditional Amsel detection method were 372 cases and the positive rate was 37.20%;and the positive patients by BV rapid detection method were 361 cases and the positive rate was 36.10%. Conclusion The sensitivity and specificity of BV rapid diagnostic kit for the detection of BV are higher and which can be used as a simple, fast and effective aided diagnosis method for BV.关键词
