Abstract

Objective To describe and analyze the efficacy of linear polarized near-infrared ray irradiation plus hyperbaric oxygen on sudden sensorineual hearing loss. Methods This study collected 47 cases in line with the diagnostic criteria of sudden sensorineual hearing loss which were divided into the treatment group and control group. The treatment group used the hyperbaric oxygen with the linear polarized near-infrared ray irradiates the affected side stellate gangly. The control group used the hyperbaric oxygen only. According to the hearing restored standard evaluated the therapeutic effect after the treatment. Results The cure rate of the treatment group was 60.00%, total effective rate was 96.00%. There has 13.9 days to restore hearing. The average radiation time is 7.9 times; almost all cases within 15 times have curative effect. Conclusion The linear polarized near-infrared ray irradiation plus high-pressure oxygen on sudden sensorineual hearing loss have obviously efficacy.
