摘要
Abstract
Objective The aim of this study was to investigate on the correlation between serum vitamin D level and lumbar spinal stenosis (LSS). Methods A total of 168 cases patients with LSS were collected for four years. All of these patients were divided into three groups determined by vitamin D level. A comparison was performed among these three groups on pain score and accumulative event incidence. Results All of clinical features showed no correlation with vitamin D except milk intake. About 80%patients with LSS complicated lower level of vitamin D level. The pain score increased with the decrease of vitamin D level. The incidence of LSS with bone fracture was highest in deficient group,and then insufficient group and normal group. Conclusion The high incidence of LSS complicated with low level vitamin D were shown in this study and frequently associated with severe pain and bone fracture.关键词
