Abstract
Objective To investigate the awareness status of AIDS and to provide the evidence for AIDS publicity and education among floating population in the development zone of Nantong. Methods Between February and June in 2013, floating population in the development zone of Nantong were investigated by anonymous self-administered questionnaires. All data were entered by software Epidata3.1 and analyzed by software SPSS18.0. Results A total of 812 floating population were recruited and surveyed, the awareness rate of AIDS-related knowledge was 61.1%(496/812). Gender, age, marital status, occupation and educational level were related with the awareness of knowledge about AIDS by multivariate logistic regression analysis. Conclusion The awareness rate of AIDS was low in the development zone of Nantong where floating population concentrate, effective efforts should be taken to strengthen the health education of AIDS in floating population.关键词
