摘要
Abstract
Objective To explore the clinical efficacy of thalidomide combined with etanercept in ankylosing spondylitis. Methods Before this study, all the patients discontinued all the drugs prescribed for ankylosing spondylitis. Oral administration of thalidomide was given daily to the control group before sleeping. Oral administration of thalidomide and subcutaneous injection of etanercept were given to the treatment group. Results Prior to treatment, here was no difference between the treatment group and control group in BASFI (Bath Ankylosing Spondylitis Functional Index), duration of morning stiffness, chest expansion, occiput to wall distance, number of painful joints, ESR and CRP(P >0.05). After the treatment, improvement occurred in all the above indicators and there was more significant improvement in treatment group with a statistical significance(P < 0.05). Conclusion Application of thalidomide combined with etanercept in ankylosing spondylitis is of good efficacy and should be applied clinically.关键词
