Abstract
Objective To explore the impact of the subtype of ulnar styloid fracture on the clinical efficacy of distal radius fracture surgery. Methods A retrospective analysis was conducted on 50 cases of distal radius fracture accompanied with ulnar styloid fracture treated in our hospital. Results The 50 patients had significant improvement in the average angle of palmar tilt was(7.9±2.2),the average angle of ulnar tilt(14.9±0.8) and the average radial height (8.9±0.8)mm 3 months after surgical treatment than before treatment(P<0.05). However,the statistics had no distinct difference between 3 months and 12 months after treatment,without statistical significance (P > 0.05).Patients with Type 1 and Type 2 ulnar styloid fracture had similar statistics 3 months after the treatment (P>0.05). Conclusion The subtype of ulnar styloid fracture has no significant impact on the efficacy of distal radius fracture surgery. Internal fixation procedures with locking steel plates and bolts demonstrate good clinical efficacy on patients with distal radius fracture accompanied with ulnar styloid fracture.关键词
