Abstract
Objective To explore the value of applying noninvasive ventilator for treatment of patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) complicated with type II respiratory failure. Methods 26 patients with COPD complicated with type Ⅱ respiratory failure in our hospital were selected for study. The patients received both basic medical treatment and ventilation by noninvasive ventilator. Changes of arterial blood pH,PaO2 and PaCO2 before and after treatment were observed. Results After noninvasive ventilation,pH and PaO2 increased while PaCO2 decreased. Conclusion Early application of noninvasive ventilation has good effects on treatment of COPD complicated with typeⅡrespiratory failure,with few complications and good compliance.关键词
