The research advancement of miR-155 in gastrointestinal tumors
摘要
Abstract
microRNAs are small non-coding RNAs which negatively regulate their target-genes expression post-transcriptionally. MiR-155 is a typical multifunctional miRNA,which paticipates in various biological processes,including hematopoiesis,inflammation,immunity and cancer.Gastrointestinal tumors are a group of diseases that serious threat to humans'life and health.In recent years,lots of evidences show that miR-155 has a close relationship with the occurrence and development of gastrointestinal tumors,and play an important role in pathogenesis,diagnosis,therapy and prognosis of the tumors.The latest research progresses in miR-155 and gastrointestinal tumors are reviewed in this paper.关键词
