Abstract
Objective To discuss the application and nursing effects of rubber dam in dental root canal therapy. Methods The data of 80 patients who were admitted to our hospital and received dental canal root therapy from June 2012 to March 2013 were analyzed. The patients were randomly assigned to experimental group and control group,with 40 patients in each group. The control group was received traditional treatment and nursing, while the experimental group was received treatment of rubber dam and clinical nursing.Clinical effects and patients’satisfactory rate of nursing were compared between the two groups. Results In the experiment, both the two groups were received three times of root canal therapy.The total effective rate in experimental group was 95%,higher than that of 85%in control group;patients’satisfactory rate in experimental group was 95%,significantly higher than that of 70% in control group;Nege scores conducted by the medical staff to the patients showed that patients in experimental group were significantly better than those in control group,and the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion The application of rubber dam in dental root canal therapy is effective clinically.The method is effective in isolating saliva and providing a relatively bacteria-free environment,which is worthy of clinical application and promotion.关键词
