Abstract
Objective To investigate the nursing methods and effects of thoracolumbar vertebra compression fractures. Methods Fifty-eight patients with thoracolumbar vertebra compression fractures admitted to our hospital from February 2010 to June 2013 were selected and randomly divided into the rehabilitation group and the control group, with 29 patients in each group.The control group was given conventional orthopedic nursing and the intervention group was given additional early complete rehabilitation nursing on the basis of the conventional nursing. Eight weeks later, VAS pain scores and joint function recovery situation of the two groups were compared. Results The VAS score of the intervention group in each stage was lower than the control group(P<0.05); The incidence of complications of the intervention group was 10.3%, which was lower than the 37.9% of the control group(P<0.05). No kyphosis occurred in follow-up visits. Conclusion Early complete rehabilitation nursing can relieve pain and reduce complications of patients with thoracolumbar vertebra compression fractures.关键词
