Abstract
Shift of stance ofthe self-referencing terms is a strategy for interlocuters to realize their communicative intention in the family conflict talk. The focus is to investigate the contextual constraints in the choice of stance of self-referencing and how the stance-shifting accommodates the interpersonal relationship between the interlocutors. Based on the analysis of linguistic data, it is found that the choice of stance of self-referencing is a linguistic strategy to construct and preserve the self identity or reconstruct the expectant self identity, which is the pragmatic motivation for that stance of self-referencingcan influence the mode of family conflict talk and accommodate the interpersonal relationship.关键词
