Abstract
Objective:To obesrve the therapeutic effect of Hung upside traction and massage therapy ( HU-TAMT) on Lumbar disc herniation ( LDH ) .Methods:Totally 280 LDH patients were randomized into two groups , 140 patients in the treatment group , and the other half in the control group .Patients in the treatment group were treated with HUTAMT , as for the patients in the control group were treated with conventional traction combined with massage therapy .After a total of two courses treatment in each group , the credits of symptoms and signs , activities of daily living , and clinical efficacy were observed .Results:The credits of symptoms and signs , activities of daily living scores were significantly improved in both groups after treatment ( P<0 .01 ) .And the treatment group had a better result according to the indexes ( P<0.05 ) .The total effective rates in the treat-ment group and the control group were 96 .43%and 88 .57%respectively ,and the treatment group was superior to the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:HUTAMT is effective for LDH.关键词
