摘要

Abstract

Objective To investigate whether endogenous hydrogen sulfide (H2S) involved in thermotolerance of HepG-2 (HepG-2/tt). Methods Flow cytometry with PI staining was used to measure the apoptosis of HepG-2 and HepG-2/tt after thermotolerance; Methylene blue Colorimetry was used to detect the production of hydrogen sulfide and the activity of en-dogenous synthases of HepG-2 and HepG-2/tt. Results After exposed in 43℃ for 24 hours, the apoptosis rate of HepG-2/tt cells was decreased significantly when compared with normal HepG-2 cells (P<0.01). In addition, the production of Hy-drogen sulfide and the activity of endogenous synthases of HepG-2/tt were significantly increased (P<0.01). Conclusions HepG-2/tt cells had greater heat tolerance than normal HepG-2 cells, and much more endogenous synthases activity and hydrogen sulfide.
