Abstract
Objective:To explore the effect of systematic nursing intervention on lung function and quality of life in elderly patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD).Method:90 elderly patients with COPD were chosen and given systematic nursing intervention for one year.Pulmonary function was measured,and the life quality was assessed by the value of St George’s respiratory questionnaire (SGRQ) before and after intervention.Result:After intervention, the value of FEVl,FEVl/FVC,MMEF and PEF all increased significantly(P<0.01 or P<0.05).Moreover,SGRQ overall score,score of respiratory symptoms, limited action and diseases affect all decreased significantly in elderly patients with COPD(P<0.01 or P<0.05).Conclusion:Systematic nursing intervention can effectively improve lung function and enhance quality of life effectively in elderly COPD patients,which is worth being popularized.关键词
