摘要
Abstract
In recent years, many researches have demonstrated that macrophages play a vital role in organ or tissue regeneration. Macrophages are necessary for skeletal muscle regeneration after injury. The recruitment of circulating mono-cytes/macrophages was mediated through myogenic cells and muscle resident macrophages. Macrophages are involved in both phases of skeletal muscle regeneration: first, swallowing necrotic myo-fibers, then the phenotype of macrophages switched from pro-inflammatory to anti-inflammatory. Second, factors secreted by anti-inflammatory macrophages improved the differentiation of myogenic cells and resulted in regeneration of skeletal muscle.关键词
