摘要

Abstract

To accurately simulate water wave flows with free surface,a fully three-dimensional non-hydrostatic pressure model has been developed by using a finite-volume formulation that solves the three-dimensional Navier-Stokes equations on a staggered z-level grid,focusing on simulation of non-hydrostatic processes in free-surface flow.The advection and diffusion terms in the momentum equation are discretized with a conservative Euler scheme that conserves momentum of each cell.To minimize the number of vertical layers and subsequently the computational cost,a method of integrating the vertical momentum equation is used for the top layer.In comparison with the three-dimensional models with vertical layers,this new model can account for the full effects of non-hydrostatic pressure in the free-surface layer and thus it is simple,conservative and efficient.
