摘要

Abstract

Accuracy and applicability of surface heat flux modeling is very important to numerical simulation.Various numerical models have been developed in the previous studies to calculate the surface heat flux of a water body in complicated conditions,and tedious parameters difficult to calibrate must be determined to use these models.This article presents a comprehensive comparison of the surface heat flux model in [8] with the one in EFDC.Results show that the former has advantage of fewer parameters and easier use.We also made an improvement on this model and evaluated the improved version by embedding it into the EFDC code for calculation of a reservoir.A comparison with field data verified the calculations.
