Numerical Simulation of Temperature Field and Stress Field of High Strength Aluminum Alloys in Direct-chill Casting Ingot
摘要
Abstract
An thermo-mechanical finite difference model based on MAGMAsoff,was established for the calculation of thermal field and stress field of φ800 mm×2 000 mm direct-chill casting round ingot.The effect of the chill size,start block shape and casting speeds on the temperature field and the stress field were analyzed.The results show that the depth of sump,as well as the ingot temperature gradient is lower,and the cracking tendency decreases as the chill height is 200 mm.The convex shape of the start block is beneficial to decreasing the crack.Meanwhile,the increasing casting speeds result in the deeper sump,the larger temperature gradient and the intensified crack.关键词
