摘要

Abstract

The effect of chemical nickel-plating on the mechanical properties of the iron-matrix composites was investigated.The results show that the connection strength between particles of the iron-matrix composite is enhanced and thus the tensile strength and elongation are also improved after the chemical nickel-plating.Both the tensile strength and elongation of the iron-matrix composites decrease with the increase of the SiC particle diameter.
