Abstract
The feasibility of non-rising casting method used for ductile iron casting was studied.By using UG software and fmite element analysis software ProCAST,the filling and solidification processes were simulated and the effect of different pouring temperature on the shrinkage defect of ductile iron casting was investigated.The results show that the self-feeding ability of ductile iron is ideal,no shrinkage cavity is observed at 1320 ℃.When the temperature rises to 1370 ℃ and 1420 ℃,the casting internal shrinkage cavity can be easily seen.Therefore,under the condition of appropriate pouring temperature and high stiffness of the die-lost casting mold,the feedless foundry method can be applied in ductile iron casting.关键词
