慢性肾功能衰竭贫血患者红细胞分布宽度与促红细胞生成素水平的相关性研究
The correlation analysis between red blood cell distribution width and serum erythropoietin level in patients with chronic renal failure and anemia

Abstract
Objective To investigate the correlation between red blood cell distribution width (RDW)and serum erythropoietin (EPO) level in patients with chronic renal failure (CRF) and anemia.Methods 76 patients with CRF and anemia were divided into RDW ≥ 13.0％ group (n=43) and RDW ＜ 13.0％ group (n=33).EPO,hemoglobin,Alb and serum Fe were detected in two groups by immunological methods and measurement for biotechnique,and then statistical analysis was performed.Results Serum EPO level in RDW≥13.0％ group was significantly lower that in RDW ＜ 13.0％ group [(0.351 ± 0.12) vs.(0.167± 0.57),P ＜ 0.01].RDW level was negatively correlated with serum Alb and Fe levels (r=-0.42,-0.37).Conclusions RDW can be regarded as a predictive marker to monitor EPO level in patients with CRF and anemia.High RDW level indicates low EPO level in patients with CRF.关键词
