持续质量改进在降低PICC导管脱出中的应用
Continuous Quality Improvement for reducing catheter dislodgment in cancer patients with PICC

Abstract
Objective To study the effect of Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) on reducing catheter dislodgment in the cancer patients undertaking peripherally inserted central catheter (PICC).Methods 216 cancer patients with PICC were selected from January to June,2013 (before carrying out CQI) as a control group.The incidence of catheter dislodgment in the 216 cancer patients was analyzed before carrying out CQI.PDCA-4 steps,including planning,doing,checking,and acting,were carried out to prevent catheter dislodgment.198 cancer patients receiving CQI from July to December,2013 were set as an experimental group.The incidence of catheter dislodgment was compared between the two groups.Results There was statistical difference in the incidence of catheter dislodgment was 20.83％ in the control group and was 10.60％ in the experimental group,with statistical difference (P＜0.05).The severity of catheter dislodgment was much lower in the experimental group than in the control group.Conclusion CQI can effectively reduce the incidence of catheter dislodgment in cancer patients with PICC.关键词
