Abstract
Objective To evaluate the efficacy and safety of intense pulsed light (IPL) in treating inflammatory acne, acne erythema and inflammatory pigmentation. Methods The patients were given IPL therapy with the wavelength of 420- 950nm 4 times with 1 week interval each time, then the wavelength were changed to 540/570- 950nm, 3 times with 4 weeks interval each time. Results Of 85 cases, for inflammatory acne, the cured rate was 14.1%, the total effective rate was 97.6%,for acne erythema and inflammatory pigmentation,the cured rate was 5.9% and the total effective rate was 96.5. Conclusion IPL treatment for inflammatory acne,acne erythema and inflammatory pigmentation is an non- invasive and effective technique.关键词
