Abstract
Objective To explore the clinical application of a self- designed dual- use spoon which aims to remove the breast implants combined with endoscope in removing polyacrylamide hydrogel injected for augmentation mammoplasty. Methods All 51 breasts in 28 patients were under surgeries of removing polyacrylamide hydrogen linjected for augmentation mammoplasty by using a self- designed dual- use spoon combined with endoscope.We were here to introduce the usage and experience of self- designed dual- use spoon,compare the advantages and disadvantages of the combination of the spoon with endoscope and then analysis the operative results. Results Most polyacrylamide hydrogel injected for augmentation mammoplasty in these 51 breasts were taken out by using the self- designed dual- use spoon combined with endoscope.Its clinical effect was remarkable.Observing wound cavities by endoscopy during the operation,no polyacrylamide hydrogel was remained.All patients were followed up for 6- 12 months.MRI showed that homogeneous high signal was all disappeared postoperation and few scattered light spots were shown in MRI of 2 patients. Conclusions The combination use of self- designed dual- use spoon and endoscope which to remove polyacrylamide hydrogen linjected for augmentation mammoplasty has the advantage of little tissue damage,safety,reliable and beautiful incision.It has a high value in clinical application.关键词
