Abstract
Objective To evaluate and compare the clinical effects of accessory fiber post and metal cast post-core in restoration of first premolar weakened root canal. Methods Select 48 patients(56 teeth) as the experimental object, whose maxillary first premolar was weakened root canal. All teeth were randomly divided into experimental group(32 teeth)and control group(24 teeth),the experimental group were restored with RTD fiber posts and accessory fiber posts, while the control group were restored with cast metal post-core. After 2 years followed-up the results were evaluated according to post core restoration success rate and patient satisfaction. Results In the experimental group, only 1 loosen post case, none post fall, break or root fracture?cases, the success rate was 96.9;in the control group,2 post loosen cases,2 post loss cases and1 root fracture case, the success rate was 79.2%.It was statistically significant difference between the two groups data (P<0.05).The patients satisfaction rate in experimental group is 93.7,in control group is 77.7,it was significant difference between the two groups data(P<0.05). Conclusion Accessory fiber post can be used as an effective method of restoration in premolar weakened root canals, it is worthy of clinical application.关键词
