Abstract
Objective To investigate the importance of quality management for the safety of clinical care and to provide some references for improving the quality of sterile supply room at hospital.Methods According to the uniform standards of Ministry of Health,the quality of sterile supply room at our hospital was standardly controlled.The department's satisfaction degree,qualified-cleaning rate,qualified-goods-packaging rate,and qualified-sterilization rate before and after the quality control were investicated.Results Before the quality management,clinical nursing accidents happened 60 times and the department's satisfaction degree was 74％,qualified-cleaning rate 75％,qualified-goods-packaging rate 70％,and qualified-sterilization rate 74％.After the quality management,clinical accidents happened 10 times,all the indexes were higher than those before the quality management,and the qualified-sterilization rate was high to 98％.Conclusions Establishing a sound quality management standard for sterile supply room can improve the safety and quality of clinical care.关键词
