Abstract
Objective To study the influence of DHA on the proliferation and apoptosis of CNE2 cells in nasopharyngeal carcinoma.Methods CCK8 assay was used to investigate the influence of DHA on the proliferation of CNE2 cells.Flow eytometry (FCM) were used to examine the effect of DHA on the apoptosis of CNE2 cells.Reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) was applied to detect the mRNA expressions of Bcl-2 and Bcl-xl in CNE2 cells.Results DHA more significantly inhibited the proliferation of CNE2 cells than the control.FCM method indicated that the apoptosis of CNE2 cells was significantly higher after exposure to DHA than to the control (P < 0.05).The mRNA levels of Bcl-2 and Bclxl were significantly decreased in the DHA group.Conclusions DHA can inhibit the proliferation and induce the apoptosis of CNE2 cells down-regulating the mRNA expressions of Bcl-2 and Bcl-xl.关键词
