摘要
Abstract
Objective To investigate the effects of mirtazapine and amitriptyline on EEG in patients with primary depres-sion.Methods Ninety cases of depression patients were randomly divided into two groups ,and were treated by mirtazapine or amitriptyline for 8 weeks. EEGs of these patients were analyzed before treatment and after 4 and 8 weeks of treatment ,and then the efficacy was evaluated according to the Hamilton Depression Scale (HAMD).Results After treatment with mirtazap-ine or amitriptyline ,the rate of abnormal EEG of the two groups was 26.7% and 69.1% ,respectively ,the difference was sig-nificant (P<0.01) ,but the changes in EEG showed no correlation with the efficacy.Conclusion Mirtazapine can cause sub-stantial changes in EEG ,while amitriptyline shows mild impact on EEG of patients with depression.关键词
