Abstract
Objective To explore the application of Montreal cognitive assessment (MoCA) to evaluate the impaired cogni-tive of patients with mild cognitive impairment (MCI). Methods 42 MCI patients and 39 normal people with age and education matched were assessed with MoCA test. Results The scores of MoCA (23.93 ± 3.69) ,visual space and executive function (3.57 ± 1.23) ,attention (5.61 ± 0.73) ,abstract thought (1.21 ± 0.68) and delayed recall (1.97 ± 1.20) in MCI group were significantly lower than these in control group (27.36 ± 1.38 ,4.46 ± 0.78 ,5.95 ± 0.22 ,1.61 ± 0.54 and 3.54 ± 0.88 ,respec-tively). However ,there had no significant difference in name ,language and orientation of two groups. Conclusion MoCA cognitive assessment shows that the memory ,visual space and executive function ,attention and abstract thought in patients with MCI are poorer to these in normal people. And this scale can have an early screening effect.关键词
