Abstract
Objective To investigate the characteristic and treatment of children with hand-foot-mouth disease (HFMD) combined with central nervous system damage (CNSD). Methods One hundred and thirty-seven children with HFMD com-bined with CNSD were randomly divided into the control group (treated with citicoline infusion) and observation group (treated with ganglioside). The nervous system improve time ,fever relieve time and recovery time of two groups were compared. The neuron-specific enolase levels of two groups were measured to evaluate the curative effect of two groups at 10 d after treatment.Results The fever ,rash ,hand-foot merger were the most common clinical manifestation of children with HFMD combined with CNSD ,and the increased cells in CSF were the most common laboratory abnormality. The nervous system improve time , fever relieve time ,recovery time and of neuron-specific enolase level of observation group were lower than these of control group.Conclusion The clinical characteristic of children with HFMD combined with CNSD has no specificity ,and the treat-ment methods should be comprehensive treatment plus intravenous ganglioside.关键词
