Abstract
Objective To investigate the clinical effects of paroxetine on treating the depression of patient with post‐stroke.Methods 126 patients with post‐stroke depression From April 2012 to April 2013 in our hospital into control group (n= 63,treated with conventional medicine) and observation group (n= 63,treated with conventional medicine plus paroxetine).The Hamilton Depression Scale (HAMD),neurologic deficit score (SSS) and daily living Barthel Index (BI) score of two groups were compared before treatment,2 weeks,4 weeks and 8 weeks after treatment.Results Compared with the control group, there were higher BI scores, lower SSS and HAMD scores in observation group 4 weeks and 8weeks after treatment, which was significant differences(P<0.05). Conclusion Paroxetine has certain effect on treating patients with post‐stroke depression,which is worthy of clinical application.关键词
