Abstract
Objective To investigate the curative effect of valproate on treating children with tourette.Methods 68 chil‐dren with tourette were randomly divided into observation group (treated with sodium valproate) and control group (treated with haloperidol). The total efficiency ,motor tics and vocaltic score and adverse reaction of two groups were compared.Results The total efficiency and adverse reaction of two groups had no statisticaldifference. The motor tics and vocaltic score of ob‐servation group were better than these of control group.Conclusion Valproate has better curative effect on treating children with tourette ,which can effectively improve the symptom of motor tics and vocaltics and have lower adverse reaction to be worthy of application.关键词
