Abstract
Objective To analyze the correlation between different TOAST classification youth infarction and high homo‐cysteine ,and provide the basis for clinical diagnosis.Methods Totally 136 youth patients with cerebral infarction nearly three years were selected as observation group ,and 136 youth healthy subjects in the same period were selected as control group.Observation group was grouped by TOAST classification.Plasma Hcy levels and NIHSS score were analyzed and com‐pared.Results Serum Hcy levels in young patients with cerebral infarction were higher than those of control group ( P<0.05) ,the serum Hcy levels and NIHSS score of LAA TOAST type were statistically significant different from the other four subtypes (P<0.05) ,while the other four subtypes(SAA ,CA ,SOE ,SUE) had no statistically significant differences.Conclusion The etiology of cerebral infarction is often related to atherosclerosis.The disease severity of LAA type is heavier than the other four subtypes.We should pay attention to early intervention and treatment.关键词
