The diagnostic value of deprivation of sleep EEG and its influencing factors on children’s psychomotor epilepsy

Abstract
Objective To investigate the clinical value and related factors of sleep deprivation electroencephalogram (EEG) in children with psychomotor epilepsy (PE). Methods One hundred and fifty‐eight cases of normal children underwent PE deprivation EEG inspection were selected from January 2012 to January 2014. The PE children were divided into 102 cases of sleep deprivation EEG negative and 46 cases of positive group ,clinical data of the two groups were comparatively analyzed ,and the related factors affecting the positive rate of diagnosis of sleep deprivation EEG were analyzed by multi‐factor Logistic. Re‐sults Sleep deprivation EEG seizure frequency and positive group had developed a ratio of less than negative incentives ,and hypoxia asphyxia ratio was higher than the negative group ,the onset of a long time ,there were significant differences (P<0.05). Logistic multivariate analysis showed that the onset time of onset of incentives ,seizure frequency are independent risk factors for sleep deprivation EEG positive rate. Conclusion PE EEG diagnosis in children with sleep deprivation can increase the rate of positive test ,children with epilepsy onset ,seizure incentives and deprived of sleep EEG seizure frequency may affect the diagnostic yield.关键词
