Expressions and significance of HER-2,MMP-2,IGF-1 and VEGF in cer vical cancer

Abstract
OBJECTIVE:To investigate the expression of HER-2,MMP-2,IGF-1 and VEGF with cervical cancer for clinical assessment. METHODS:We collected cervical tissue samples from Uygur women with cervical lesions (invasive cervical cancer,ICC:38 cases,cervicitis:32 cases). The mRNA and protein expression levels of HER-2,MMP-2,IGF-1and VEGF in tissues from two groups were examined by real-time fluorescence quantitative PCR (Q-PCR) and Western blot. RESULTS:Compared with normal control group,the expressions of HER-2,MMP-2,IGF-1 and VEGF in ICC group were increased to different extent at mRNA level,and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05 or P<0.01). At protein level,the expressions of HER-2,MMP-2 and VEGF in ICC group were increased to different degree,and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05 or P<0.01),but there was no statistically significant difference in IGF-1 expression (P>0.05). CONCLUSION:The excessive expressions of HER-2,MMP-2,IGF-1 and VEGF may be related to the occurrence and development of cervical cancer.关键词
