Study on toughened furan resin chemically modified by poly(ethylene glycol)s
摘要
Abstract
Polyethylene glycol (PEG)s with different molecular weights were introduced into furan resin by chemical modification to overcome its large brittleness and the introduction of the flexible long chains of PEGs increased the toughness of furan resin.The results showed that PEG-400 had a better toughe-ning effect when its quality content was 25wt%,the maximum tensile strength of the modified furan resin was 1 9.9 MPa with no significant decline and the corresponding breaking elongation was up to 5.5 1%.关键词
