Abstract
In his childhood and early youth, Confucian culture was deeply rooted in ZHANG Hen-shui's spiritual world. He projected Confucian culture into his literature composition, making his works full of spiritual characteristics of Confucian culture, which requires that the ideal personality includes both “ruling a country” and “conducting oneself”. In terms of the former, most ideal characters in ZHANG Hen-shui's novels have strong national sense and ethnic consciousness; in terms of the latter, they at-tach great importance to both “courtesy” and “benevolence”, thus conforming to ethic standards of Confucian culture.关键词
